About
We will conclude the 2024/2025 season holding in our minds and memories the excitement of the anniversary year and thrilling meetings with guest artists. This season, Sinfonietta performed with amazing soloists, including Mari Samuelsen, Soyoung Yoon, and Alena Baeva, as well as charismatic conductors: Michał Nesterowicz, Abel Korzeniowski, and Anu Tali.
The last chord in this year’s Stars with the Sinfonietta series will be a meeting with Simon Höfele, one of the most accomplished trumpeters of his generation. Sinfonietta Cracovia will be conducted by Katarzyna Tomala-Jedynak, the first conductor, and the programme will feature classic pieces by Mozart and Neruda, as well as British accents, such as a variation composed for the coronation year of Queen Elizabeth II, and Britten’s graceful piece The Simple Symphony.
