Status with regard to compliance with legal regulations
The website is partly compliant with the Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the non-compliances or exclusions listed below:
some films lack translations into Polish Sign Language for the hearing impaired and lack audio description for the visually impaired persons.
photos and images on the website do not have alternative text, their content is not accessible for the visually impaired persons and those who do not display the images on mobile devices.
the Act shall not apply to the aforementioned multimedia based on Art. 2 sec. 2 of the Act.

focus indicator is not visible when navigating using the keyboard
difficult site navigation using keyboard
changing font size and contrast is not possible
The website does not comply with the rules of being perceivable, operable, understandable, robust (in Polish and EU law referred to as compatible).
The new website compliant with WCAG 2.1 will be available in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Information on the procedure
Every person has the right to request digital accessibility of a website or some part of it on conditions stipulated in the relevant Act. It is also possible to request making information available by alternative means of access, for example by reading out a document which is unavailable digitally, describing the content of a film without audio description, etc. The request should contain the details of a person submitting the request, indication of the relevant website and the means of contacting them. If the person submitting the request reports the need to receive the information via alternative means of access, they should also specify the preferred way of presenting that information. If the provision of digital accessibility is not possible, the public entity may suggest alternative means of access to the information. In the event the public entity refuses to fulfil the request for providing digital accessibility or alternative means of access to the information, the person requesting can file a complaint concerning the provision of digital accessibility of the website or its part, under the Code of Administrative Proceedings. Once the indicated procedure has been exhausted, it is possible to file a complaint to the Polish Ombudsman.
Getting there – how to find us?
The venue of the Orchestra of the Capital Royal City of Krakow Sinfonietta Cracovia is located at 14/2 Łokietka Street in Krakow; 950 m from Nowy Kleparz, walking distance of 12 minutes.
Public transport: you can reach us by tram no. 70 and 73 – stop: Nowy Kleparz, or by bus no. 130 – stop: Wrocławska.
Parking: you can use the municipal parking within the metered parking zone on Łokietka street. We do not have our own parking spaces, nor a dedicated parking space for persons with disabilities.
Architectural accessibility
Building: The building that houses the venue and offices of the Orchestra of the Capital Royal City of Krakow Sinfonietta Cracovia is not adapted to the needs of persons with physical disabilities (private property).
Entrance to the building: a doorstep in front of the entrance to the building. The door does not open automatically. Behind the door there are stairs of 5 steps. There is a possibility of using the intercom at the street level, and asking for assistance.
Office space: The offices are located on the first floor, there is a lift. The lift is equipped with voice announcements, signage in Braille and a handrail. In the small office space there are no steps or other architectural barriers. The bathroom is not accessible for wheelchair users. There is no possibility of using the services of a sign language interpreter on site or online. No induction loop. People with impaired vision can enter the premises with their service dog.
Ticket prices: People with disabilities are entitled to a free ticket to selected regular concerts. The carer of a person with a disability is entitled to a concession ticket.
