Pianohooligan

Particularly intense, expressive, and yest full of profound and elegiac sounds–compositions featured in the programme of the last Sinfonietta Nova concert of the season will enable the audience to immerse themselves in the vortex of musical experiences. The point of departure for this journey will be, among others, the music of Henryk Mikołaj Górecki and Aleksander Nowak, with original improvised cadenzas of the “Pianohooligan” Piotr Orzechowski. Moreover, the programme of the evening will feature pieces by two contemporary women composers – Hanna Kulenty’s wild Concerto Rosso and the elegiac Within her arms by English-American composer Anna Clyne. The evening with Sinfonietta Cracovia and Artur Orzechowski will be marked by an array of contrasts, form pulsating and trance-inducing rhythms to subtle and lyrical sounds that will out the stark spaces of the Łaźnia Nowa theatre.
